Ramen Go:
Web Development

Furthering my web development knowledge, I worked with a team of graphic designers and front-end/back-end developers to work on a recreation of the sushigo card game

What is the Sushigo project?

Sushigo is a multiplayer card game that includes a turn system and implements a variety of cards with different effects on the game. Therefore, our project implements these systems and also uses MongoDB as a database. We created a lobby system and socket rooms to accomodate a large player count and multiple lobbies.

What do I do on the Sushigo project?

I worked mainly on front-end for this project, but in my future endeavor, the Group Planning project, which is also on this webpage, I worked on the back-end for that. Focusing back on this project, I worked with the ui design and a lot of the logic of the game, turn system, and lobby system. I also did the socket rooms and game id system in order to create different lobbies.
